Holding a consistent presentation standard across a high-traffic retail centre
The challenge
The centre had previously run separate contracts for cleaning, window washing and grounds, which meant three different standards, three invoices, and no single point of accountability when something was missed ahead of a weekend trading peak.
Our approach
- Consolidated carpet, floor strip and polish, window cleaning and grounds maintenance under one scope and one site lead
- Moved high-traffic common area floor care to a rolling overnight schedule so no section was ever out of service during trading hours
- Set a fixed fortnightly grounds and building wash cycle through summer, dropping to monthly over winter to match actual growth and grime rates
- Introduced photo-based visit reporting so centre management could see completed work without walking the site themselves
